Monster Music is a music teaching directory and referral service only and does not directly employ music teachers. Whilst every possible precaution is taken by Monster Music to ensure and fulfill the interests and safety of its customers, it cannot and does not take responsibility for the actions of individual music teachers that it refers work to either before, during or after tuition times.

Monster Music is always concerned about child safety when children undertake music lessons with any music teacher listed on this site, or with teachers who are offered music students by way of referral. Music Teachers are strongly encouraged to apply for a Working With Children Check in their relevant state or territory (or Police Certificate in those states that don't yet have WWC Checks) to display their suitability in working with children, though are not required to possess one in order to list their details in Monster Music's directory or subscribe to its referral service. Music Teachers ARE however, at the time of their application to Monster Music required to declare whether they possess a current WWC Card or Police Certificate. That information is recorded and available to music students or parents of students. Monster Music therefore accepts no responsibility for any inappropriate actions or behavior towards any student by any music teacher who obtains students via any service related to Monster Music.

Where "the Student" is any person using this web site and "the Teacher" is any music teacher assosiated with Monster Music's service(s), Monster Music shall not be responsible for and the Teacher shall indemnify Monster Music and keep it forever indemnified against:
(a)     All and any wrongful and inappropriate actions of the Teacher or his or her servants and agents;
(b)     All and any demands, claims and actions brought by the Student or any person on the Student’s behalf arising out of any action on the part of the Teacher or his or her servants and agents;
(c)     All and any claims for personal injury compensation arising out of injuries sustained by the Student or any person accompanying the Student that occurs on the premises where the music lesson is being conducted.
